On March 27, No.6 37,000dwt lake cargo ship "POLSTEAM RUDNO" built for Polish PZM Company was named and delivered by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation of China State Shipbuilding Corporation.
The ship has total length of 199.9 meters, beam of 23.7 meters, depth of 15.6 meters, 6 cargo holds with folding hatch covers, 4 deck cranes, and integrates green design concepts with excellent maneuverability and longitudinal adjustment capabilities, which makes it easy to navigate in lake. Its maneuvering performance, economic performance, energy saving and green performance are all superior to those of similar ships. It has strong market competitiveness with remarkable features such as “green, environmental protection, energy saving and safe”. The ship is classified as LR Classification Society.
The main hull of the ship was formed in just 38 days, the outer plates were closed and welded in 50 days, and the shaft, propeller and rudder works were successfully completed in 31 days, with the construction linkage running efficiently. During the sea trial, all performance indexes of the ship exceeded the requirements of technical specifications, and key parameters such as speed and fuel consumption all met the design expectations. The pipeline and outfitting system of the whole ship realized zero penetration and zero leakage with one-time inspection pass rate of 100%, setting record for the highest score in this series of ships. |
