On March 22, No.8 and No.9 65,000dwt bulk carriers built by DSIC Shanhaiguan Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited (SHGSIC) were named “China Energy 609” and “China Energy 610”, and delivered to China Energy Group Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. and China Energy Group Tianjin Shipping Co., Ltd..
During shipbuilding period, the project team achieved efficient resource allocation through the whole process of meticulous management, and the total dock period was compressed to 95 days.
The SDARI intelligent ship system DOSS (including intelligent integration platform, intelligent energy efficiency management, and intelligent engine room module) installed on No.8 ship has realized the digital function of integrating ship and shore. By applying AI algorithms to construct a full life cycle operation model, it has obtained the intelligent ship symbol I-SHIP (I,E,M) recognized by CCS. All external inspections of deck piping system in the in-dock stage of No.9 ship were completed, all painting on ballast tanks and cargo hold racks were completed, and all removal of scaffolding was completed, which set the best record of in-dock integrity for this series of ships.
During the sea trial of the two ships, the project team broke through the traditional process, innovatively implemented the “project interspersed method”. By precisely compressing the connection process of each node, they efficiently completed all the inspection reports within an average of 42 hours of operation of the main engine, setting a new benchmark for the inspection report speed of similar projects. |
